Adevinta is committed to the protection of personal data and therefore guarantees to protect and safeguard yours with the utmost care, in accordance with the requirements of privacy legislation.
Your personal data (including identification and contact data) will be processed in order to manage your registration, enrollment and participation in the selected Adevinta Academies’ courses as well as to be able to process and manage your information requests related to Adevinta Academies and any of the available courses. Therefore, the legal basis of the processing would be your consent, being the processing necessary for the above-mentioned purposes.
For how long do we retain your data?
Your personal data will be kept only for the time necessary to comply with the purposes for which it has been collected and, afterwards, although duly blocked, for the time necessary to respond any eventual legal or contractual obligations.
For instance, and in particular, data related to employees’ files regarding training activities and records shall be kept for the duration of the employment relationship and (duly blocked) for three years afterwards.
Who will your data be sent to?
Adevinta will not share your personal data unless when sharing is necessary to defend its legitimate interests or when the communication of your personal data is compulsory to comply with an applicable legal obligation.
Likewise, your personal data may be communicated to other companies of the Adevinta group (for the proper management of the trainings provided and of your employment relationship on a global basis as well as those who contractually provide necessary auxiliary services to Adevinta (such as Thinkific Inc. as the company responsible for providing the relevant necessary platform or other internet or technical support services providers). In any case, the processing of your personal data will take place within the European Economic Area and will not be subject to automated decisions.
